The term “Square Dog” is used to describe a variety of terrier breeds, all of which are squarely proportioned in both face shape and body dimensions. Typical examples include the Welsh, Lakeland, Airedale, Irish, Wire Fox, and more.
Typified by their exaggerated beards, triangular ears, and boxy proportions, their stylised silhouette has been used over the years to represent an iconic dog symbol, and in fact many of us (of a certain era!) will have enjoyed owning our first square dog in the form of a terrier on wheels! This lovely fact adds a dash of nostalgia to the range, so why not collect the whole set?!
